Lee Terrace Featured on Aucoot

We are pleased to see Lee Terrace featured on Aucoot, a platform that champions homes with integrity, craftsmanship, and a cohesive design narrative. Their focus on properties that go beyond aesthetics—those that are considered, well-executed, and possess a distinct sense of place—makes this recognition particularly meaningful.

Lee Terrace exemplifies our approach to contemporary architecture within sensitive contexts. This standalone family home, built on a compact brownfield site in Blackheath, takes cues from the mews-style typology, ensuring it remains contextually appropriate whilst delivering a refined, modern living environment. A palette of London stock brick, pre-cast stone, and a subtly undulating aluminium-clad volume defines its external character, whilst inside, an interplay of exposed concrete, oak joinery, and expansive glazing creates a layered and tactile interior.

Mailen Design is committed to designing homes that are more than just well-composed spaces—they must be deeply responsive to their setting and the people who inhabit them. To have this project acknowledged by Aucoot, whose audience understands the value of thoughtful, design-led architecture, reinforces the significance of what we strive to achieve.
