Haizea commenced her involvement with Mailen Design on an international scholarship following her graduation from Architectural studies in San Sebastian, Spain. Having investigated the use of natural materials within contemporary Architectural design during her degree her initial interest in the studio’s work was through the careful detailing of well crafted buildings.

In 2020 Haizea completed her internship and joined as a full time member of the Architectural team. She has since become a sustainability champion for Mailen Design and a vital contributing designer bringing input to residential, commercial and hospitality schemes. She brings a wealth of experience of digital design software including the use of BIM technology during the design detailing and construction stages. She is continuing to develop her passion for materials across a wide range of design projects.

Outside the office Haizea is passionate about music, she owns 6 guitars and likes to explore London live music events in her free time.
